E2 iPhone giveaway!
Attention all designers, photo editors, or anyone who just feels lucky. E2 is giving away an Apple iPhone to whoever can come up with the best web banner design for us!
Rules: Ok so your going to submit a banner package which contains 8 banners of different resolutions but all must contain the same “theme”
The resolutions are:
- 468×60
- 392×72
- 234×60
- 125×125
- 120×240
- 120×90
- 120×60
- 160×60
For every banner you should have a GIF or JPEG and an editable source file (example: photoshop-.psd Fireworks-.wmb)
You can submit your entrys to jon@eleven2.com. The contest will end May 5th! So get working on them. Feel free to submit more than 1 entry just make sure each entry is in a seprate submission email.
UPDATE March 6th: To help you guys out here is a package with our logo so that you can make even better banners!

What are the details of the affiliate program that you want to promote? It would be good to know what we’re selling…
So are these banners just supposed to be generic to try and pull traffic to your site via other websites?

Chris: You can do animated gifs but no flash. You can do animation or stills its up to yall.
Dsire: We don’t currently have an affiliate program. We just want to promote eleven2 in a creative ways. You can promote our plans if you want. The content is really up to you as long as its about eleven2 of corse.
Sean: Exactly we want to pull traffic off of other sites!

can you post a link with your fonts so we can incorporate them into the banners, to be honest a complete style guide would be essential, especially if your trying to establish your brand outside of your site:) If i were wanting banners i would want them to speak volumes about me, especially in the design (colors, fonts, logos, etc)

Sean our font is trebuchet ms should be on your computer already. As much as we love our eleven2 “style” these banners do not have to comply with our colors and style 100% We want to see the creativity and art of you guys, and be able to use it to promote us.
Hey, what exactly has to be included in the source files?? There are some ways I do things and certain techniques that I use that I dont show anyone to keep my art unique.. can I flatten the .psd as long as the text and different objects are movable?? What is the criteria on this topic?? please… thanks in advance.

as long as we can move the text and objects around that should be fine, we are not out to steal anyones techniques. The topic is really up to you as long as its pertaining to eleven2. Its pretty much free realm on your end we want to see your creativity!
