No matter what side of the “Mac or PC” argument you land, its impossible to deny the impact Steve Jobs had in this world. Apple announced yesterday that Steve had passed away, bringing about a lot of reflection, gratitude, and even new inspiration.

We all know Steve’s story for the most part. Steve created amazing electronics and computers that out do all of their competition’s products. But he didn’t just create products he set standards, he was constantly raising the bar in and outside of his industry.
As much as apple products have been apart of eleven2, the most important thing Steve contributed to us was an example of leadership in the way he ran Apple. One of my favoriate quotes from him is…
“Innovation has nothing to do with how many R&D dollars you have. When Apple came up with the Mac, IBM was spending at least 100 times more on R&D. It’s not about money. It’s about the people you have, how you’re led, and how much you get it.”
Innovation was where Steve exceeded the rest, and its his innovations that will be remembered and continue to inspire the eleven2 team.
